Hello! I am Olkesii. I live in [...], Poltava region, in Ukraine. On February 24, 2022, my life changed. The war started in Ukraine. Russian occupiers invaded our territory, and now they destroy, and they kill. When we hear an air-raid siren, we rush to the shelter.
So, this is how we exit when we hear an air-raid siren. Here is the door. We go here. As soon as we hear an alarm, we run fast, we run immediately and take our most important belongings. And we come here. When the was the first air-raid siren, I knocked off the fence here. So I step over here and walk… There was a neighbour here, she left for Poland, and yesterday, she was already in Germany. This is how the lock opens. We have chickens here. Here is the basement. I will close this. Here is the basement. We run and sit here. Here are the doors: this one locks and this one closes. We sit like this until the end of the siren and until we get a… so to speak, a message that it’s all over. So, this is how things are.
But it will not be like this forever. The whole world supports us. We will win. Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!
